Hi! I'm John. I was born in Taiwan, and for as long as I can remember, I have lived to eat.

In Taiwan, I was obsessed with the bouncy and chewy texture ("QQ") in my favorite foods, like mochi, boba and rice cakes.

So I began making my favorite treats with rice flour, trying to replicate that QQ texture in pancakes, waffles, cookies, and pasta, creating new family recipes.
